Having prepared foods in the freezer makes the 5 o’clock,
“What are we going to have for supper?” much less
stressful. Here are some ideas:
Thaw the
“bricks” in tomato sauce and add a few herbs for a last
minute spaghetti sauce. Make a quick burrito with a tortilla and
reheated ground meat /chicken, thinly sliced vegetables and Mexican
sauce.
Soups/Stews
Any size muffin or bun
form
Place the
“bricks” in a pot with a few tablespoons of water,
cover and heat on low for about 10 minutes. Once thawed, turn up
the heat and bring to desired temperature.
Finely grated
ginger
Solid sheet
Spread thinly, freeze and
break into chunks. The ginger will thaw very quickly when added to
a hot pan or sauce.
